China's monthly LNG offtake in May amounted to 4.93mmt, our data showed, which constituted monthly demand growth of 0.49mmt (11 percent) compared to the 4.44mmt we recorded in April. As such, at 9.37mmt in total, Chinese demand in April and May trailed its two-month equivalent of 9.56mmt in February and March marginally by 0.19mmt (-2 percent).
