High prices and a slowing of China’s economic recovery will lead to a drop in the country’s LNG imports in the second half of this year. After a 28% year-on-year growth in the first half of 2021, LNG shipments are forecast to rise just 13% from a year earlier, said Ricki Wang, an analyst at Chinese commodities consultancy JLC.
