Chart Industries, the US manufacturer of equipment for the LNG and energy industries, swung to a first-quarter loss because of restructuring and acquisition-related costs, though logged a contract for an import terminal in India.
March 22 (LNGJ) - Chart Industries, the US liquefied natural gas equipment maker, has named Kenneth J. Webster as its new Chief Financial Officer, succeeding retiring CFO Michael F. Biehl who will remain at Chart through April 15 to ensure a smooth transition. Cleveland-based Chart said Webster joined the company in 2006 and currently serves as Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer and Controller, a position he has held since 2008. “I have great confidence in Ken, given his demonstrated track record and deep appreciation and understanding of Chart’s organization and business. We wish Michael all the best as he retires from Chart,” said Sam Thomas, Chart’s Chairman, President and Chief Executive.
