Qatar Gas Transport Company, better known as Nakilat, has kept first-half net profit broadly flat at 857 million Qatari Riyals, even as its Marine Services segment was “significantly affected” by the military conflict in the region.

Delivery of 17 LNG carrier newbuildings tied to the TotalEnergies-led 12.8 mtpa Mozambique LNG project has been delayed, with shareholders asking shipyards Hyundai Heavy Industries and Samsung Heavy Industries to defer declaration dates to September 2026.

Qatar Gas Transport Co. (Nakilat), the state-controlled liquefied natural gas carrier company, said it plans to raise up to $4.3 billion from various sources to fund the building of 16 LNG carriers.
