US Everett LNG import terminal seals deals to stay open as critical facility alongside the owner’s nuclear plants
The Everett LNG import terminal near Boston, the longest-operating such facility in the United States, will remain in operation through 2030 after natural gas supply deals were signed with three New England utilities and approved by the authorities to keep the lights on in Massachusetts.

US natural gas consumption falls 5 percent amid mixed spot market prices and flat LNG exports
US domestic natural gas consumption dropped by 5 percent during the week and prices were mixed as LNG exports remained flat and average net pipeline imports from Canada decreased by 2 percent.
