ExxonMobil has invited bidders for marine warranty survey services for the first phase of its Rovuma LNG project in Mozambique, with expressions of interest due July 15 at 14:00 Maputo time.
Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ), India's largest commercial ports operator, has secured a $70 million marine services contract for Argentina’s first floating LNG export project, which will supply LNG to India. Commercial operations for the FLNG facility in San Matías Gulf are expected to begin in September 2027, producing 2.45 million tonnes of LNG annually.
The insurance risk of Arctic LNG carriers, fitted with Azipod propulsion units and worth around $400 million, may not have been properly calculated, UK-based marine insurer Marsh warned.
