Daewoo Shipbuilding loses case in Korean battle over patent for LNG reliquefaction technology
Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering, one of the world’s leading builders of liquefied natural gas carriers, has lost a court case filed against its South Korean rivals over a patent for reliquefaction technology.

Sept 9 (LNGJ) - Baker Botts, a leading international law firm, hosted an LNG debate at its first Oil and Gas Lawyer School in London for leading in-house counsel. The firm said that during the event, partners from its energy practice were joined by 38 industry professionals to examine a range of issues facing the oil and gas industry, with participants also able to discuss the current LNG industry and value chain.
