CNP Corp., the Taiwanese energy company, said it received its first cargo on November 26 from the Ichthys LNG export plant in the Northern Territory of Australia, as the Asian country claimed as part of China broadens its supply sources.
The Taiwan Power Company has issued an expression of interest request for its first international long-term LNG supply contract for up to 2.4 million tonnes per annum over 15 years and delivered to its new Tai-Chung import facility under development.

The 155,000 cubic metres capacity carrier “British Ruby”, owned by BP Shipping, will unload a cargo on November 27 at the Japanese Kawagoe import terminal, operated by Chubu Electric, from the Bonny Island plant in Nigeria. The 155,000 cubic metres capacity BP carrier “British Diamond” will deliver a cargo on December 1 to the Yung-An import facility in Taiwan from the Caribbean Atlantic LNG plant in Trinidad.
Oct 3 (LNGJ) - The 155,000 cubic metres capacity British Sapphire, operated by BP Shipping, has unloaded a cargo at the Yung-An import terminal in Taiwan from the Australian Northwest Shelf plant, operated by Woodside, according to shipping data. The “Northwest Seaeagle” has just delivered a cargo to the Japanese Naoetsu import terminal, also from the Woodside plant in Australia. The 160,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “Yari LNG” has unloaded a cargo from Qatar to the Ain Sokhna facility in Egypt.
