The energy company owned by the Indian West Coast state of Gujarat that includes the city of Mumbai said it would bring its Mundra LNG import terminal on line by September 2018 while it awaits the signing up of a strategic partner.

The US Magnolia LNG export project in Louisiana said it had received a Notice to Proceed (NTP) from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, opening the way for preparation work to begin on the site for the liquefaction plant on the Calcasieu Shipping Channel near the Port of Lake Charles.
