The US Government is expanding federal oversight of natural gas pipelines nationwide affecting gas gatherings systems supplying feed gas to LNG export facilities and to domestic pipeline customers.
Cheniere Energy, the operator of the Sabine Pass LNG export plant in Louisiana, has received approval from US regulators to bring back into service one of two LNG storage tanks that have been offline because of a leak almost two years ago.
