Centrica plc, the UK owner of the British Gas utility business and a liquefied natural gas importer, has signed a long-term LNG supply agreement with US export plant developer Delfin Midstream Inc.

Dec 21 (LNGJ) – Three LNG carriers are lining up to deliver US cargoes to the two UK import terminals at the Welsh port of Milford Haven over the Christmas holidays. The “Hellas Athina” with 174,100 cubic metres of capacity is scheduled to discharge a cargo on December 25 at the South Hook terminal. It was lifted on December 5 from the US Corpus Christi export plant in Texas.

   The 174,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “GasLog Gladstone” will then deliver a shipment on December 26 to the Dragon terminal at the Welsh port from the US Elba Island plant near Savannah in Georgia. Another US delivery is scheduled for South Hook on December 28 on board the 154,950 cubic metres capacity carrier “Solaris”. It was loaded on December 14 at the Cameron plant on the US Gulf Coast.

Cheniere Energy, the largest exporter of US LNG from two plants in Louisiana and Texas, reported third-quarter revenue of $8.85 billion and nine-month income of $24.34Bln in the first nine months of 2022, though posted quarterly and nine-month non-cash losses of $2.385Bln and $2.509Bln because of derivatives.

Sept 22 (LNGJ) - The UK Isle of Grain import terminal on the Medway River estuary in the County of Kent, southeast of London, is scheduled to discharge a US cargo on September 23 being delivered by the 174,000 cubic metres capacity “GasLog Hong Kong”, according to shipping data. The cargo was lifted on September 10 from the Cameron LNG plant at Calcasieu Pass in Louisiana.

Feb 14 (LNGJ) - The UK-flagged “British Achiever”, part of the fleet owned by BP Shipping and with 173,640 cubic metres of capacity, is scheduled to deliver a US LNG shipment on February 19 to the South Hook import terminal at Milford Haven in Wales. The vessel lifted the cargo on February 8 from the Sabine Pass export plant in Louisiana, operated by Cheniere Energy.

The United Kingdom is expected to receive about half a dozen cargoes of liquefied natural gas in the coming week, including three shipments from the US at the UK port of Milford Haven.

Dec 28 (LNGJ) - The 174,000 cubic metres capacity carrier “British Sponsor” was scheduled to berth with a US cargo on December 28 at the Isle of Grain LNG import terminal on the Medway-Thames estuary, located about 45 miles southeast of London, according to the Thamesport authorities. The shipment was lifted on December 12 from the Freeport export plant on Quintana Island in Texas.

Dec 27 (LNGJ) - The UK is scheduled to receive two New Year LNG shipments, one from Russia and one from the US. The 172,600 cubic metres capacity carrier “Christophe de Margerie” is scheduled to deliver a cargo on January 1 to the UK South Hook terminal at the Welsh port of Milford Haven from the Arctic Yamal plant in northern Siberia, according to shipping data. The US cargo is arriving on January 2 at the adjacent Dragon terminal at Milford Haven in the 174,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “LNG Bonito”. The ship lifted the cargo on December 19 from the Sabine Pass plant in the US state of Louisiana.

Nov 25 (LNGJ) - The UK will receive its first December liquefied natural gas cargo from the US Sabine Pass plant in Louisiana. The 140,071 cubic metres capacity carrier “Arctic Voyager” is scheduled to deliver the shipment on December 2 to the South Hook import terminal in Wales from the Louisiana plant operated by Cheniere Energy.

Sept 29 (LNGJ) - The 145,000 cubic metres liquefied natural carrier “Methane Lydon Volney” was discharging a US cargo on September 29 at the Isle of Grain import terminal on the Medway-Thames estuary, southeast of London. The vessel carrying a cargo lifted from the Sabine Pass plant in Louisiana docked after the UK National Balancing Point benchmark natural gas price hit a seasonal record on September 28.
