The US Department of Energy has just published its latest liquefied natural gas monthly export data showing rising prices for the six plants and with China being the top monthly destination, while India overtook the UK into sixth place for overall total shipments received.
US liquefied natural gas LNG shipments increased in the past week even as LNG cargo prices remained at historically low levels in Asia while European prices were still much lower than the US spot Henry Hub benchmark.
Freeport LNG shipped its first cargo from the second liquefaction Train at the export facility on Quintana Island in Texas.
