UK cargo from Texas

June 25 (LNGJ) – A rare summer delivery of LNG is heading for the UK with the National Balancing Point market price at around the equivalent of $10.345 per million British thermal units.

   The “Rias Baixas Knutsen” with 180,000 cubic metres of capacity is scheduled to discharge a US LNG shipment on June 27 at the South Hook terminal at the Welsh port of Milford Haven, according to shipping data. The cargo was lifted on June 13 from the Corpus Christi export plant in Texas.

Three UK shipments

Feb 27 (LNGJ) - The Norwegian-flagged LNG carrier “Ribera Duero Knutsen” with 173,400 cubic metres capacity was scheduled to berth on February 27 at the UK Isle of Grain import terminal on the Medway River in Kent with a cargo from the US. The shipment was loaded on February 15 at the Corpus Christi export plant in Texas operated by Cheniere Energy.

   Two further deliveries are scheduled for the UK on March 3 at the import terminals at the Welsh port of Milford Haven. The “LNG Prosperity” with 174,000 cubic metres capacity is due to discharge a cargo from Peru at the Dragon terminal. That cargo was lifted on February 2 from the Pampa Melchorita facility on the Pacific Coast of Peru. Also on March 3, the 173,400 cubic metres capacity vessel “Woodside Rees Withers” is due at the South Hook terminal with a shipment from the US Corpus Christi plant.

March 11 (LNGJ) - US LNG cargoes are continuing to point to the UK LNG port of Milford Haven. The 154,950 cubic meters capacity vessel “Golar Snow” is scheduled to arrive on March 17 at the South Hook import facility with a shipment from the Freeport LNG plant in Texas, according to the port authorities. The cargo was lifted on March 3 from the Freeport plant.

Nov 26 (LNGJ) - The first December LNG cargo for the UK will be delivered from Texas to the Dragon LNG import terminal at Milford Haven in Wales, according to the Port Authority. The shipment will arrive on December 3 from the Cheniere Energy plant at Corpus Christi in Texas onboard the carrier “Marib Spirit”, which has capacity of 165,000 cubic metres.

Texas LNG for UK

Nov 10 (LNGJ) - A US LNG cargo is heading for the UK from Texas and will berth at the South Hook import terminal at Milford Haven. The “Maran Gas Troy” with capacity of 155,900 cubic metres is scheduled to arrive on November 12 from the Corpus Christi export plant on the US Gulf Coast, according to port authorities.

   The shipment is due at a time of weaker Atlantic Basin natural gas prices. The UK National Balancing Point natural gas price has declined in recent days to $5.25 per million British thermal units, while the main Continental European price, the Dutch Title Transfer Facility (TTF), was lower at the equivalent of $4.80 per MMBtu.
