Wison Offshore and Marine, the Chinese shipbuilding company and builder of the first floating LNG production barge set to be deployed in Argentina, has received approval from the American Bureau of Shipping for its latest Floating Natural Gas-to-Methanol facility, recalling previous methanol and LNG plans for the Tassie Shoal offshore Australia.
MEO Australia, the exploration and production company with retained liquefied natural gas project plans in the Tassie Shoal offshore northwest Australia and oil interests in Cuba, said its LNG project could be suitable for feed-gas from the Greater Sunrise fields.
MEO Australia, the independent oil and gas exploration and production company with interests in Cuba and an LNG project on hold in the Timor Sea, said it received encouraging results from a licence in the Bonaparte Basin offshore Western Australia and was looking for a farm-in partner.
