Indonesia extends by 20 years the Tangguh production sharing deal to underpin LNG project and expansion
Indonesia has approved the extension of the Tangguh production sharing contract for 20 years to underpin the Tangguh LNG export project involving state companies, UK major BP, Japan’s Inpex and a Chinese stake, including in the Train 3 expansion currently under construction.

Nov 27 (LNGJ) - The Indonesian Tangguh LNG plant, operated by BP of the UK, has issued a first-quarter 2020 sell tender closing on November 28 for five cargoes to be delivered on an ex-ship (DES) basis whereby the buyer receives the cargoes shipped to an agreed port of arrival. The five cargoes on offer are scheduled to be loaded between January and March 2020. The loading dates are: January 16-20, January 25-29, February 20-24, March 6-10 and March 18-22.
Indonesia formalizes cargo agreement with BP for expansion of Tangguh liquefaction plant
BP has signed a final sales agreement to supply Indonesian state power company Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) with a total of around 250 cargoes for 15 years from the new liquefaction Train planned at the Tangguh LNG plant operated in eastern Indonesia by the UK company.
