Nov 30 (LNGJ) - Chicago Bridge and Iron was awarded a contract valued in excess of $200 million by Puget Sound Energy for the engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction of a multi-purpose LNG storage and fuel terminal in Tacoma, Washington state. The scope of the work includes a 30,000 cubic metres capacity full containment storage tank. The facility will provide peak shaving, marine bunkering and truck loading capabilities.

Clean Energy Fuels Corp. has opened its first public liquefied natural gas station in Washington State, connecting a US Pacific Coast supply chain aimed at the trucking industry from southern California, through Oregon to the Canadian border.
