Skangas, the Norwegian LNG distribution company owned by Finnish natural gas operator Gasum, has signed an agreement to supply regular volumes to biopower plant owner Porin Prosessivoima via the LNG import terminal in the port of Pori in Finland.

Nordic LNG supplier Skangas, a subsidiary of Finnish natural gas company Gasum, said it completed 1,000 LNG bunkering operations during a 12-month spell, representing a more than 60 percent increase over previous years.

Stena Line of Sweden, one of Europe's leading ferry companies with 35 vessels and 22 routes in Northern Europe, has ordered four liquefied natural gas-Ready ferries with options for four others from the AVIC Shipyard in China.
