TC Energy, the North American pipelines group, posted lower net income amid higher revenues as a dispute continued with the LNG Canada project over the Coastal GasLink feed-gas from the Montney Shale.
The Mexican subsidiary of Sempra Energy of the US, owner of the Cameron LNG export project in Louisiana, and Canadian pipeline company TransCanada have started work on the $2-billion Sur de Texas venture to transport shale gas under the Gulf of Mexico from South Texas to the Mexican city of Tuxpan and to power plants around the country.
