Canadian shipping line, British Columbia Ferries, has awarded another newbuild contract to the Polish Remontowa Shipbuilding company in the Baltic port of Gdansk for a liquefied natural gas-powered vessel.

Steelhead LNG, developer of the near-shore export plant proposed for Vancouver Island, is currently investigating the pipeline route to bring feed-gas from the Chetwynd area of northeast British Columbia to Sarita Bay on First Nation-owned land.
