Dec 21 (LNGJ) – Three LNG carriers are lining up to deliver US cargoes to the two UK import terminals at the Welsh port of Milford Haven over the Christmas holidays. The “Hellas Athina” with 174,100 cubic metres of capacity is scheduled to discharge a cargo on December 25 at the South Hook terminal. It was lifted on December 5 from the US Corpus Christi export plant in Texas.
The 174,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “GasLog Gladstone” will then deliver a shipment on December 26 to the Dragon terminal at the Welsh port from the US Elba Island plant near Savannah in Georgia. Another US delivery is scheduled for South Hook on December 28 on board the 154,950 cubic metres capacity carrier “Solaris”. It was loaded on December 14 at the Cameron plant on the US Gulf Coast.
June 16 (LNGJ) - LNG fleet owner GasLog Partners LP has signed two new time- charter agreements with major oil and gas companies Royal Dutch Shell and TotalEnergies. The deals include a one-year charter for the 155,000 cubic metres capacity “GasLog Sydney” with a subsidiary of TotalEnergies, beginning this week, as well as an approximately eight-month charter with Shell for the “Solaris”, also a vessel with 155,000 cubic metres of capacity and beginning immediately.
“I am very pleased to announce these new charters with global energy majors,” said Paul Wogan, Chief Executive of GasLog Partners. “The agreements are at fixed daily rates of hire at returns in line with the historic long-term average, underscoring the strengthening LNG carrier spot market observed so far this year,” added Wogan.
Oct 1 (LNGJ) - The Peru LNG export plant at Pampa Melchorita on the Pacific Coast shipped four cargoes to Asia and Europe in September, two to South Korea, one to the Netherlands and one to Spain. The first cargo shipped to South Korea left on September 4 on the 173,000 cubic metres capacity carrier “Megara” at a Japan-Korea Marker price of $4.54 per million British thermal units, according to data from Peruvian national energy company PeruPetro.
A second shipment to South Korea departed on September 19 on the 173,400 cubic metres capacity carrier “Magdala” with a JKM price of $4.91 per MMBtu. The cargo for Spain left on September 21 on the 155,000 cubic metres capacity “Solaris” at the UK National Balancing Point price of $4.06 per MMBtu. The cargo for the Dutch Gate terminal at Rotterdam departed on September 25 on the 173,000 cubic metres capacity “Myrina” at the Dutch Title Transfer facility price of $3.98 per MMBtu.
June 15 (LNGJ) - The Peru LNG plant at Pampa Melchorita directed most of its five cargoes to North Asia in May with only one being delivered to the Manzanillo terminal on the Pacific Coast of Mexico. The ships that lifted cargoes included the 155,000 cubic metres capacity carrier “Solaris”, the 155,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “Gaslog Seattle” and the 173,400 cubic metres capacity carrier “Valencia Knutsen”. They headed for China or South Korea. PeruPetro said the cargoes were priced on the Japan-Korea Marker at between $2.063 per million British thermal units and $2.068 per MMBtu.
March 3 (LNGJ) - The 155,000 cubic metres capacity “Gaslog Saratoga” has just delivered a shipment for Gas Authority of India to the Dabhol terminal near Mumbai from the Bonny Island export plant in Nigeria, according to shipping data. The 170,000 cubic metres capacity “Methane Julia Louise” is unloading a cargo at the Dahej import facility, operated by Petronet north of Mumbai, from the Queensland Curtis plant in the Australian port of Gladstone. The 155,900 cubic metres capacity vessel “Maran Gas Mystras” has unloaded a cargo from Qatar at a floating import facility at the Egyptian port of Ain Sokhna in the Gulf of Suez. The 210,100 cubic metres capacity Q-Flex vessel “Al Saad” is unloading a cargo from Qatar at the Pakistani Port Qasim floating import facility, located east of Karachi. The 155,000 cubic metres capacity carrier “Solaris” has unloaded a shipment from Gladstone in Australia at the Ningbo import terminal in the eastern Chinese province of Zheijang, operated by China National Offshore Oil Corp.
