Venture Global, the developer of two US liquefied natural gas export plants in the state of Louisiana, said it secured a 20-year sales agreement with Portuguese energy company Galp Energia for volumes of one million tonnes per annum.
Aug 24 (LNGJ) - The 145,700 cubic metres capacity carrier “LNG Benue” will deliver a cargo on August 26 to the Sines import terminal in Portugal from the Bonny Island export plant in Nigeria, according to shipping data. The 177,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “Energy Horizon” will deliver a shipment on August 28 to the Japanese Higashi-Ohgishima import terminal owned by Tokyo Electric Power from the Dampier export complex in Western Australia, operated by Woodside Petroleum. The 159,900 cubic metres capacity carrier “Energy Atlantic” will deliver a cargo on September 14 to the Escobar import facility in Argentina, located on the Parana River north of Buenos Aires, from Ras Laffan in Qatar.
June 26 (LNGJ) - The 75,000 cubic metres capacity carrier “Cheikh El Mokrani” will deliver a shipment on June 27 to the Sines import terminal in Portugal from the Skikda plant in Algeria, according to shipping data. The 147,200 cubic metres capacity vessel “Arctic Princess” is due to unload a cargo on June 28 at the Bilbao terminal in northwest Spain from the Hammerfest plant in northern Norway. The 215,000 cubic metres capacity Q-Flex ship “Al Utouriya” is scheduled to deliver a cargo on July 14 to the Incheon terminal in South Korea, operated by Korea Gas Corp., from the Ras Laffan plant in Qatar.
Aug 31 (LNGJ) - The 215,000 cubic metres capacity Q-Flex ship “Al Utouriya” is set to unload a cargo from Qatar on September 2 at the Portuguese import terminal at Sines, according to shipping data. The 137,350 cubic metres capacity carrier “Al Wajba” will deliver cargo on September 4 from Singapore to the Japanese Naoetsu import terminal, owned by Inpex.The 217,000 Q-Max carrier “Al Kharsaah” is scheduled to deliver a RasGas cargo on September 13 to the Map Ta Phut import terminal in Thailand.
May 27 (LNGJ) - The 162,000 cubic metres capacity carrier “Esshu Maru”, operated by Japan’s K-Line, is scheduled to unload a cargo from Trinidad on May 27 at the Pecem import facility in Brazil, according to shipping data. The 137,231 cubic metres capacity vessel “LNG Rivers” is scheduled to deliver a shipment from Nigeria on June 1 to the Sines import terminal in Portugal. The 75,000 cubic metres capacity “Cheikh Bouamama” will deliver a cargo from the Algerian export plant at Skikda on May 28 to the import terminal at Sagunto in southern Spain
Portugal is expected to be the first European country to receive a US LNG cargo from the export plant owned by Cheniere Energy that recently went into operation at Sabine Pass in Louisiana.
