ARA-based Titan LNG combines with Petronas for bunkering of US-chartered and China-owned VLCC
Titan LNG, the bunkering fuel supplier in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) area of northwest Europe, has partnered with Malaysian energy company Petronas for a successful re-fuelling operation for an LNG-powered Very Large Crude Carrier chartered by Koch Industries of the US.
Siem LNG-powered car carriers named at China yard and set to operate on Europe-US route
Siem Industries, the company run by Norwegian Kristian Siem and whose interests include shipping and offshore oil and gas engineering and services through the Subsea 7 company and Siem Offshore Inc., has attended the naming ceremony for its two LNG-powered car carriers at the Chinese Xiamen Shipbuilding yard in southeastern Fujian province.
Third major LNG fuel supply deal signed by Shell is one for transatlantic car-carrying vessels
Royal Dutch Shell said that two of its fuel subsidiaries signed a long-term agreement with shipping line Siem Car Carriers to supply LNG to fuel two new car-carrying ships being used to transport Volkswagen vehicles from Europe to North America.
