UK LNG traffic

Nov 30 (LNGJ) - The UK LNG import terminals at the port of Milford Haven, the South Hook facility and Dragon LNG, are scheduled to receive three LNG vessels in the first week of December. The “Flex Ranger” of 174,100 cubic metres capacity is scheduled to berth on December 3 after previously loading a shipment at the Cameron export plant in Louisiana.

   Two days later the “Flex Vigilant” with the same capacity will bring a cargo from the Calcasieu Pass facility in Louisiana that was lifted on November 23. On December 7, the carrier “Sevilla Knutsen” with 173,400 cubic metres of capacity will unload a shipment at the UK Dragon LNG terminal in Milford Haven lifted on November 5 from the Pampa Melchorita plant on the Pacific Coast of Peru.

Peru's Asia cargoes

March 22 (LNGJ) - Peru’s LNG exports in March are heading for the North Asian markets of China and South Korea, according to data from energy company PeruPetro. Four vessels have left the Pampa Melchorita liquefaction plant on the Pacific Coast of Peru with three headed for South Korea on the 173,540 cubic metres capacity carrier “Megara”, the 135,400 cubic metres capacity carrier “Madrid Spirit” and on the 173,400 cubic metres capacity vessel “Sevilla Knutsen”.

   During the current winter season Peru has also shipped cargoes to Europe. The fourth cargo lifted so far in March from the Peruvian plant is heading for Tangshan in China on the 170,200 cubic metres capacity vessel “SFC Melampus”.

Peruvian LNG for Asia

March 2 (LNGJ) - The Peru LNG export plant at Pampa Melchorita on the Pacific Coast shipped four cargoes to Asia in February 2021, three to South Korea and one to Japan. The first cargo shipped to South Korea left on February 1 on the 170,000 cubic metres capacity carrier “Methane Julia Louise” at a Japan-Korea Marker price of $7.65 per million British thermal units, according to data from Peruvian national energy company PeruPetro.

   The second shipment headed for Japan on February 6 on the 138,200 cubic metres capacity carrier “Methane Kari Elin” with a similar JKM price. A second shipment for South Korea left on February 18 on the 173,400 cubic metres capacity vessel “Sevilla Knutsen” at the JKM price of $6.19 per MMBtu. The fourth cargo, also sent to Korea, departed on February 23 on the 159,800 cubic metres capacity carrier “Maran Gas Lindos” with similar pricing.

Peru LNG has shipped three cargoes so far in July to three separate pricing areas of the Atlantic and Pacific Basins from its liquefaction facility at Pampa Melchorita, the only LNG export plant in South America.
