Sempra Infrastructure awards engineering contract to US firm Bechtel for Phase II of Port Arthur LNG in Texas
Sempra Infrastructure, a subsidiary of California-based utility Sempra, has signed an engineering, procurement and construction contract with US firm Bechtel Energy for Phase II of the Port Arthur LNG export project in Texas.
US LNG price and cargo data shows German deliveries halved after winter but gas still flows to rest of Europe
The US Department of Energy has published its latest LNG export data showing that shipments to Germany halved when the winter season ended and during 2023 US export facilities delivered 21 shipments to German import terminals through April 2023, while the UK, Spain and France extended their lead over China as cargo destinations.
Sempra proceeds with US Cameron LNG expansion and debottlenecking plans amid EPC competition
Sempra Infrastructure, the liquefaction and LNG export affiliate of California utility Sempra, has signed an agreement with French and Japanese partners to develop the expansion project of the Cameron LNG export plant in Hackberry in Louisiana.
