Höegh Evi and Petroleum Sarawak Berhad (PETROS) have signed a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) to jointly develop, own and operate the proposed Kuching LNG terminal, an FSRU-based import facility designed to deliver first gas by end-2029.

Royal Dutch Shell said it completed the sale of its 15 percent stake in liquefaction plant three at the Malaysian LNG Bintulu Complex in Sarawak for a net $650 million.

Malaysian International Shipping Corp., whose LNG fleet comprises almost 30 vessels, has taken delivery of an additional ship and newbuild, the “Seri Cemara”, the fifth in a series of five vessels with Moss-type storage tanks as the company makes advances in revenues and assets in cooperation with state energy company Petronas.
