Jan 22 (LNG) - US and Russian cargoes are scheduled for delivery to European LNG import terminals in the coming week with the Dutch Title Transfer Facility day-ahead spot price on the European Energy Exchange on January 22 decreasing to the equivalent of $8.955 per million British thermal units from $9.109 per MMBtu at the end of last week.

   The “Christophe De Margerie” with 172,600 cubic metres capacity is scheduled to deliver a Russian cargo on January 24 to the Zeebrugge terminal in Belgium, according to shipping data. The cargo was lifted on January 17 from the Yamal plant in northern Siberia. Germany is scheduled to receive a US cargo on January 29 at the import terminal at Brunsbüttel on the Elbe. The cargo will be delivered by the “Elisa Aquila” vessel with 170,500 cubic metres capacity. The volumes were loaded on January 14 at the Cameron plant in Louisiana.

Sept 28 (LNGJ) - Three cargoes are heading for the European Union nations, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium in the days ahead. The LNG carrier “Rias Baixas Knutsen” with capacity of 180,000 cubic metres is scheduled to discharge a US cargo on September 29 at the floating terminal at the German North Sea port of Wilhelmshaven, according to shipping data. The cargo was lifted on September 8 from the Cameron export point in Louisiana.

   The vessel “Woodside Rees Withers” with 173,400 cubic metres capacity is due to unload a US shipment on September 30 at the Dutch Gate terminal in Rotterdam. The cargo was lifted on September 17 from the Corpus Christi export plant in Texas. The carrier “Clean Vision” with 162,000 cubic metres of capacity is scheduled to deliver a Russian cargo on September 30 to the Belgian terminal at Zeebrugge. The cargo was loaded on September 22 at the Yamal Arctic export plant at Sabetta.

Feb 10 (LNGJ) - The 172,600 cubic metres capacity LNG carrier “Georgiy Brusilov” arrived at the UK Isle of Grain import terminal on the Medway River in Kent on February 10 with a cargo from the Russian Yamal plant in northern Siberia lifted on February 1, according to shipping data. The vessel arrived as the UK wholesale natural gas price, the National Balancing Point, continued to be at seasonal record levels. The NBP was at the equivalent of $24.35 per million British thermal units compared with $6.85 per MMBtu exactly a year ago.

The Arctic LNG export project under construction on the Gydan Peninsula in northern Siberia will benefit from a new airport that as just come into service to speed-up the transportation of material and engineering personnel to the work sites.

Novatek, the natural gas company and operator of the Yamal LNG export plant in Arctic Russia, said the Arc7 ice-class LNG tanker “Christophe de Margerie” of Sovcomflot successfully transited the eastbound and ice-covered part of the Northern Sea Route and reached the Bering Strait in only 12 days.
