Pieridae Energy, the developer of the Goldboro LNG export project in the Canadian Atlantic Coast province of Nova Scotia, has posted widening second-quarter losses as it progresses with the venture that includes selling cargoes to German utility Uniper.

Tellurian Inc., the developer of the Driftwood LNG export plant in Louisiana and associated infrastructure and resources such as pipelines and natural gas production, said it expected to identify its joint venture partners soon as more than 20 companies had shown an interest.

Pieridae Energy, the Canadian company developing the Goldboro LNG project in the Atlantic Coast province of Nova Scotia, has retained bankers to raise US$10 billion in equity and project financing.
