S&P Global Inc. said its Platts pricing unit has launched a Southeast Asia price assessment for liquefied natural gas cargoes as a differential to the existing Japan-Korea Marker for spot cargoes as well as on an outright basis.

S&P Global Commodity Insights, the energy pricing and reports unit of US-based ratings and analysis firm S&P Global Inc., has acquired UK-based technology firm Tradenet and its vessel-tracking platform Market Intelligence Network (MINT) for an undisclosed sum.
