ExxonMobil has invited bidders for marine warranty survey services for the first phase of its Rovuma LNG project in Mozambique, with expressions of interest due July 15 at 14:00 Maputo time.
Technip Energies, together with Japan Gasoline Co. (JGC) and Samsung Heavy Industries, has secured an engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) contract for the Coral Norte floating LNG project off Mozambique. The contract was awarded by Mozambique Rovuma Venture, a joint venture comprising Eni, ExxonMobil and China’ CNPC.
ExxonMobil has withdrawn the force majeure clause on its Rovuma LNG project in Mozambique, targeting a financial investment decision (FID) in early 2026. Situated in Cabo Delgado, the project will consist of two Train with a combined liquefaction capacity of 18 mtpa.
