NextDecade Corp. said it received bid packages from US companies Bechtel Inc. and Fluor Corp. relating to the engineering, procurement and construction contracts for its Rio Grande export project in Texas.

NextDecade, a company run by former Royal Dutch Shell LNG executive Kathleen Eisbrenner and proceeding with its US Rio Grande LNG export plant near the port of Brownsville in Texas, has launched an open season for its affiliated pipeline venture that will deliver feed-gas to the liquefaction plant.
