Japanese shipping company Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL), whose energy business fleet includes over 150 tankers for oil and other products and about 90 LNG carriers, reported tumbling profits and a fall in revenues amid global shipping market disruptions.

US natural gas prices and Asian spot cargo values signalled that the price of gas around the world had dropped far enough, led down by high European supply levels and record  storage, as future prices in the US and West Asia rebounded even as the Red Sea and Middle East security situation in the past week deteriorated while failing to push crude oil prices significantly higher.
