The Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) has opened its seventh LNG Producer-Consumer Conference in the city of Nagoya, marked by Japan initiating more cooperation with the US in the past year on LNG projects in Southeast Asia.
Japan duly offered the $10 billion flagged by the government beforehand at the LNG Producer-Consumer Conference in Tokyo where the nation pledged to help finance the value chain of LNG projects in developing countries in Asia.
