Finnish power project company Wartsila, which also makes propulsion and gas equipment for ships, said it was awarded the contract to give Finland its third small-scale import and regasification facility at the port of Hamina.

Skangas, the Nordic liquefied natural gas supplier and facility operator, has signed an agreement to sell volumes to the Finnish chemicals company Kemira Oy.

Norwegian-based LNG operator Skangas, a unit of Finnish natural gas company Gasum, has begun commissioning the first Finnish import terminal at the port of Pori with an anticipated September commercial start-up that will see it supply key industrial customers.
