The Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG), one of the nation’s largest natural gas network and transmission companies, has successfully commissioned the Pluto Inlet Station, the new facility connecting the Pluto LNG plant in Western Australia to the Dampier-to-Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline.
Nov 20 (LNG) - Australian LNG producer Woodside has signed a long-term gas sale and purchase agreement with Perdaman Chemicals and Fertilisers of Western Australia for the supply of pipeline gas for a term of 20 years, primarily sourced from Woodside’s portfolio and proposed Scarborough development. The agreement is subject to a number of conditions and supply will commence between 2023 and 2025. “This is a significant domestic gas sale and represents another step towards the delivery of the proposed Burrup Hub,” said Chief Executive Peter Coleman. “The realisation of our vision for the Hub will ensure that the world-class North West Shelf and Pluto facilities on the Burrup Peninsula are positioned to meet both domestic gas and global LNG demand for decades to come,” he added.
Woodside Petroleum, the operator of two liquefied natural gas export plants in Western Australia, has showcased its new corporate headquarters in the state capital Perth, complete with Aboriginal artworks and campus-style design.
Woodside Petroleum, the Australian liquefied natural gas operator, has promised a jobs bonanza from LNG expansion to people in the city of Karratha, adjoining the port of Dampier from where LNG exports are shipped, as well as in the state of Western Australia and the Pilbara region.
