Vietnam gas discovery by Eni and Essar of India has significant potential to complement LNG imports
Italian energy company Eni said an exploration well located in Block 114 of the Song Hong Basin offshore Vietnam has confirmed a significant natural gas accumulation, further expanding the potential of the field.

Vietnam natural gas discovery is made in Italy-India held block in offshore Song Hong Basin
Vietnam has logged another natural gas discovery in the offshore Song Hong Basin in a prospect explored by Italian energy company Eni and Essar Oil of India as the Vietnamese also advance with two LNG import projects.
