Singapore’s main LNG company Pavilion Energy and the biggest Chinese LNG importer, China National Offshore Oil Corp., have signed an accord for strategic cooperation on LNG bunkering from Northwest Europe to China’s coastal areas.
The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) has awarded a third LNG bunkering supplier licence to French energy major Total to operate in the Asian city-state supplying ship-to-ship fuel.
April 2 (LNGJ) - Pavilion Energy, the Singapore liquefied natural gas importer and a subsidiary of the city state’s wealth fund Temasek, is calling for offers to jointly develop a reporting methodology for carbon-neutral deliveries of LNG. The company launched a request for the proposal, which comprises three components: supply of up to 2 million tonnes of LNG per annum for Singapore; ideas for greenhouse-gas emission reductions; and collaboration on the methodology.
Pavilion Energy of Singapore and the fuels subsidiary of French major Total have signed a 10-year, fully-termed agreement to jointly develop an LNG bunkering supply chain in the Port of Singapore.
