Sept 24 (LNG) - The 172,636 cubic metres capacity carrier “Fedor Litke” is scheduled to arrive on September 29 at the Zeebrugge terminal in Belgium with a shipment from the Yamal plant in Russia, according to shipping data. The 210,100 cubic metres capacity Q-Flex carrier “Um Al Amad” will unload a shipment on October 2 at the Thai terminal at Map ta Phut from the Ras Laffan plant in Qatar. The 145,700 cubic metres capacity “LNG Benue” will unload a shipment on October 4 at the Pakistani import facilities at Port Qasim, east of Karachi, from Nigeria LNG at Bonny Island. The 210,100 cubic metres capacity vessel “Al Ghariya” will unload a Qatargas cargo on October 8 at the Incheon terminal in South Korea. The 165,000 cubic metres capacity carrier “Marib Spirit” will deliver a Nigerian cargo on October 8 to the Mina al Ahmadi terminal in Kuwait. The “LNG River Niger” will unload a Nigerian cargo on October 8 at the Mexican Altamira import terminal on the Gulf of Mexico.

Qatar Gas Transport Co. (QGTC), the LNG shipping company of Qatar, has signed an agreement with US floating import project company Excelerate Energy to form a joint venture firm and as a start has acquired a 55 percent interest in a floating storage regasification unit.

Oct 3 (LNGJ) - The 145,700 cubic metres capacity carrier “Al Jassasiya” was unloading a cargo on October 3 at the Pakistani Port Qasim import facility, east of Karachi, from Gulf state supplier Qatar, according to shipping data. The 210,000 Q-Flex vessel “Al Khattiya” was delivering a shipment from Qatargas on Oct 3 to the French Fos Cavaou terminal, located 50 kilometres west of the Mediterranean city of Marseilles. The 135,000 cubic metres capacity carrier “Hyundai Aquapia” has arrived at the Omani export plant at Sur on the Arabian Pensinsula to lift a cargo for South Korea.

Nov 3 (LNGJ) - Cargoes are headed for both India and Pakistan. The 217,000 cubic metres capacity Q-Flex vessel “Al Kharsaah” is scheduled to deliver a Qatari shipment on November 5 to the Pakistani import facility at Port Qasim, near Karachi. The 210,000 cubic metres capacity ship “Al Oraiq” will unload a cargo from Qatar on November 12 at the Hazira import terminal near Mumbai, operated by Shell India.

Qatargas, the world’s largest liquefied natural gas producing company, has signed a firm 20-year agreement to supply Pakistan with LNG cargoes as the Asian nation continues to develop import infrastructure around the port of Karachi.
