JGC Corp. Holdings, the leading Japanese LNG engineering company that has just been awarded a contract for floating LNG in Nigeria, said it expected the US Cameron LNG terminal expansion project in Louisiana and the Freeport LNG Train 4 venture in Texas would move forward with engineering contracts in 2023.
March 4 (LNGJ) - Oil Search, the energy company with LNG and oil assets in Papua New Guinea and oil projects in the US state of Alaska, has named Peter Fredricson as its new Chief Financial Officer to replace Stephen Gardiner, who is stepping down after eight years. Gardiner will continue to assist Oil Search as an adviser to the Managing Director Keiran Wulff. The Australian-listed and PNG-based company said that CFO Fredricson had over 30 years of experience in the infrastructure and banking sectors in Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
“We are fortunate to welcome Peter to Oil Search,” said Wulff. “His deep experience in finance, equity and debt capital markets and the financial services sector generally will be valuable to Oil Search as the company focuses on delivering its strategic objectives,” he added.
Oct 10 (LNGJ) - Oil Search, the Papua New Guinea-based energy and LNG company, said efforts were now focused on the P’nyang Gas Agreement, with discussions between the PNG government and ExxonMobil, the operator of P’nyang, now taking place to clear the way for a doubling of LNG production to almost 20 million tonnes per annum
“Finalization of the P’nyang Gas Agreement and the passing of associated Papua LNG legislative changes are pre-requisites for launching the front-end engineering and design phase of the proposed three-Train LNG development,” said Oil Search. The Australian Securities Exchange-listed company is a shareholder in the P’nyang gas resources and gave the update to investors during a UK road show.
