Wintershall Dea advances with $825M development of Dvalin North gas field to supply EU from Norwegian Sea
Wintershall Dea, the company viewed as Germany’s national oil and gas player and which is a shareholder in the Norwegian-run Hammerfest LNG export project, has submitted a plan for development of the Dvalin North gas field in the Norwegian Sea to help boost pipelines gas supplies for Europe.
Norway forecasts 8 percent rise in natural gas sales from offshore fields and Hammerfest LNG plant
The Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy has updated its estimate of projected European natural gas sales in 2022 to about 8 percent higher than last year and set to be bolstered by the restarting Hammerfest LNG export plant in Northern Norway and with the volumes helping to offset declining Russian gas sales.
Equinor awards subsea contract to Nexans for Askeladd gas field to supply Hammerfest LNG
Equinor, the Norwegian energy company formerly known as Statoil has awarded a major contract to Nexans in France to design, manufacture and supply a total of 42 kilometres of static infield and inter-field umbilicals to control the subsea production systems linked to the Hammerfest LNG plant.
