Chevron Corp. expects to resume LNG production by the end of November at Train 2 of the Gorgon liquefaction and export plant it operates on Barrow Island in Western Australia, while it was pleased with the completion of its acquistion of Noble Energy and its East Mediterranean naural gas assets.
Noble Energy shareholders voted to approve the sale of the owner of East Mediterranean and Equatorial Guinea natural gas assets with LNG possibilities to US major Chevron for about $4.2 billion in shares.
