US energy engineering company McDermott has been awarded two contracts by the leading LNG producer Qatar for the Arabian Gulf nation’s largest oil field.

Qatar’s wealth from being one of the world’s top three liquefied natural gas exporters with the US and Australia is set to be supplemented with additional future income from a new oil-producing expansion project in the Arabian Gulf with crude prices to remain high for the next several years.
