The Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) in the US has chosen the DirectLink LNG project of Naturgy of Spain and Norwegian technology firm Connect LNG as the most innovative project of the year because of its unique floating LNG transfer system.

Nature Energy, a Danish energy company, said it had joined the Nordic Liquefaction joint venture developing an LNG production plant to supply maritime and truck fuel and scheduled to come on stream in 2018 at the port of Frederikshavn in Denmark.
