Oct 2 (LNGJ) – Cargoes from Algeria and Peru are heading for the UK in the days ahead. The “Berge Arzew” with 138,100 cubic metres of capacity is due to unload a cargo on October 3 at the Isle of Grain terminal on the Medway River in Kent, according to shipping data. The cargo was loaded on September 22 at Algeria’s Arzew export plant.
The LNG carrier “Methane Julia Louise” with 167,400 cubic metres of capacity is scheduled to deliver a cargo on October 6 to the UK Dragon import terminal at the port of Milford Haven. The cargo was lifted on August 28 from the Pampa Melchorita plant on the Pacific Coast of Peru.
Sept 25 (LNGJ) - Two LNG cargoes are heading for the UK this week with the National Balancing Point UK wholesale gas market futures price gathering pace. The “LNG Abalamabie” with 170,000 cubic metres capacity is scheduled to deliver a Nigerian cargo on September 28 to the Dragon import terminal at Milford Haven in Wales, according to shipping data. The cargo was loaded on September 18 at Nigeria’s Bonny Island export plant.
A second cargo is due at the Dragon facility on September 29 from Peru on board the “Methane Julia Louise” with 167,415 cubic metres capacity. The shipment was lifted on August 28 from the Pampa Melchorita plant on the Pacific coast of Peru.
May 31 (LNGJ) - The 167,400 cubic metres capacity LNG carrier “Methane Julia Louise” is scheduled to deliver a cargo on June 7 to the UK Dragon import terminal at the Welsh port of Milford Haven from the Pampa Melchorita export plant in Peru, according to shipping data. The cargo was lifted on April 25 from the Pacific Coast facility.
May 19 (LNG) - The UK will receive at least two more LNG cargoes in the next week, with one scheduled from Peru and a second from Qatar. The 167,420 cubic metres capacity carrier “Methane Julia Louise” is due to berth on May 22 at the Dragon import terminal at Milford Haven. The vessel is carrying a cargo lifted on April 25 from the Pampa Melchorita plant on the Pacific Coast of Peru, according to shipping data.
A second cargo for the UK is scheduled to be discharged on May 23 at Milford Haven’s South Hook facility from the 260,900 cubic metres capacity Q-Max carrier “Umm Slal”. The shipment was loaded on May 2 at the Ras Laffan plant in the Arabian Gulf.
March 2 (LNGJ) - The Peru LNG export plant at Pampa Melchorita on the Pacific Coast shipped four cargoes to Asia in February 2021, three to South Korea and one to Japan. The first cargo shipped to South Korea left on February 1 on the 170,000 cubic metres capacity carrier “Methane Julia Louise” at a Japan-Korea Marker price of $7.65 per million British thermal units, according to data from Peruvian national energy company PeruPetro.
The second shipment headed for Japan on February 6 on the 138,200 cubic metres capacity carrier “Methane Kari Elin” with a similar JKM price. A second shipment for South Korea left on February 18 on the 173,400 cubic metres capacity vessel “Sevilla Knutsen” at the JKM price of $6.19 per MMBtu. The fourth cargo, also sent to Korea, departed on February 23 on the 159,800 cubic metres capacity carrier “Maran Gas Lindos” with similar pricing.
Indian liquefied natural gas imports rose by 6 percent in March, the second successive month of increases after two months of declines as shipments came from the spot market as well as Australia and Qatar and Nigeria.
