GasLog Ltd, the Monaco-based LNG fleet owner and operator with 19 vessels and with another 15 ships held by its US affiliate GasLog Partners, reported that the forecast tightening of the LNG shipping market had come to pass with increasing US output and the seasonal uptick in demand for natural gas.

China gets first Peru LNG

June 10 (LNGJ) - China National Offshore Oil Corp. said it this week received its first LNG cargo from South America at the Ningbo import terminal in the eastern Zhejiang province. The shipment came on board the 145,000 cubic metres capacity “Methane Alison Victoria” from the Peru LNG export plant at Pampa Melchorita, CNOOC said. In other LNG carrier movements, the 160,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “Asia Vision” is scheduled to deliver a cargo from Qatar on June 14 to the Zeebrugge import terminal in Belgium. The 148,470 cubic metres capacity “LNG Kano” is expected to unload a cargo from Nigeria on June 22 at the Kuwait import facility at the port of Mina Al Ahmadi. The 148,300 cubic metres capacity carrier LNG Ondo” will deliver a shipment from Nigeria on June 17 to the Aqaba import facility in the Kingdom of Jordan.
