April 19 (LNGJ) - The Qatari Q-Max LNG carrier “Mekaines”, which has 261,137 cubic metres capacity and is among the largest in the world, is scheduled to discharge a cargo on April 23 at the UK South Hook import terminal at Milford Haven in Wales. The cargo was lifted from the Ras Laffan plant in the Arabian Gulf, according to shipping data. It also showed an Egyptian shipment being unloaded at Europe's largest LNG terminal, located southeast of London
At the Isle of Grain terminal in Kent, operated by National Grid plc, the 173,560 cubic metres “Stena Clear Sky” was discharging a cargo on April 19 lifted on April 9 from the Idku export plant in Egypt.
Jan 17 (LNGJ) - Three LNG shipments are heading for the UK port of Milford Haven this week with cargoes from Nigeria, Qatar and the US. The 142,990 cubic metres capacity “LNG Benue” is scheduled to deliver on January 21 to the Dragon import terminal from Bonny Island in Nigeria.
The 261,100 cubic metres capacity Q-Max vessel “Mekaines” is due to discharge a shipment on January 22 at the South Hook terminal from the Ras Laffan plant in Qatar. The third cargo will be delivered by the 174,050 cubic metres capacity “Adamastos” to the South Hook facility on January 23 from the Corpus Christi plant in Texas.
Oct 11 (LNGJ) - The 261,000 cubic metres capacity Q-Max LNG carrier, the “Mekaines”. is scheduled to deliver a cargo on October 14 to the UK South Hook import terminal at Milford Haven in Wales from the Ras Laffan plant in Qatar.
The shipment was lifted on September 26 and is arriving in the UK as the National Balancing Point (NBP) benchmark natural gas price was quoted at the equivalent of $30.25 per million British thermal units, down from last week’s record levels.
As the Qatari Q-Flex liquefied natural gas carrier “Al Safliyah”, the largest LNG vessel to transit the expanded Panama Canal, is scheduled to arrive at a European port on June 12 with a US cargo in a notable three-continent trading voyage, Qatargas has given details of another shipping first related to Spanish cargo deliveries.
