UK Grain LNG terminal boosts truck-loading as owner National Grid raises post-Brexit issue
National Grid, operator of the Isle of Grain liquefied natural gas import terminal on the River Medway in Kent, said in its annual report that it had loaded 3,950 road tankers with LNG for deliveries to off-grid customers in just over two years and also raised the issue of the post-Brexit situation.

Feb 2 (LNGJ) - The 210,000 cubic metres capacity Q-Flex vessel “Al Khattiyah” is scheduled to unload a cargo for Qatar on February 4 at the UK Isle of Grain import terminal, operated by National Grid on the Medway River, southeast of London, according to shipping data. The 75,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “Cheikh Bouamama” is unloading a shipment from Algeria on February 2 at the Cartagena import terminal in southeast Spain.

European maritime and project classification society DNV GL said it was awarded a framework agreement for the provision of design and engineering technical services to Europe’s largest import terminal, Grain LNG, located near London.

The Frazer-Nash consultancy said it was awarded a place on the design and engineering technical services framework agreement for National Grid’s Grain LNG import terminal, located on the Medway River, 45 miles southeast of London.
