The Oman LNG bunkering project for the Port of Sohar has advanced with the signing of a series of agreements for an Omani onshore gas field known as Block 10 and involving French major TotalEnergies, the Oman National Oil Company and Shell.

Winterthur Gas & Diesel, the Swiss-based specialist marine propulsion company, has unveiled new technology designed to slash methane emissions and cut fuel consumption in its X-DF dual-fuel engines used by LNG carriers and other vessels.

The South Korean company, Hyundai Engine Machinery, has completed the tests for six gas engines for LNG power from MAN Energy Solutions, bound for a series of container ships ordered by Singapore-based Eastern Pacific Shipping.
