Feb 22 (LNGJ) - The UK is receiving three LNG cargoes this week at the Port of Milford Haven in Wales, two from the US and one from Qatar. The 165,000 cubic metres capacity carrier “Marib Spirit” will discharge its cargo on February 23 at the South Hook terminal from Cheniere Energy’s Sabine Pass plant in Louisiana, according to the port authorities.

   Another shipment from Sabine Pass is scheduled to be unloaded on February 25 at the Dragon regasification terminal at the Welsh port from the “Stena Clear Sky” carrier with 171,800 cubic metres capacity. The third shipment will arrive on February 27 at the South Hook terminal from Qatar onboard the largest carrier, the 266,000 cubic metres capacity Q-Max vessel “Mozah”. The UK deliveries are being received at lower seasonal prices as the UK National Balancing Point has declined in the last week to the equivalent of $5.90 per million British thermal units.

Dec 28 (LNGJ) - The 165,000 cubic metres capacity carrier Marib Spirit will deliver the first LNG cargo of 2021 to the UK when it berths on January 1 at the South Hook import terminal at the port of Milford Haven in Wales. The vessel will discharge a shipment from the US Sabine Pass plant in Louisiana.

   The shipment was heading for the UK as winter season prices remained firm. The National Balancing Point benchmark was at the equivalent of $6.80 per million British thermal units while the continental European Dutch Title Transfer facility (TTF) price was lower at the equivalent of $6.30 per MMBtu.

Teekay LNG Partners, whose gas group units own, charter or have stakes in 77 vessels, including 47 liquefied natural gas carriers and 30 liquefied petroleum gas or multi-gas vessels, reported lower third-quarter profits but was optimistic on the coming year.

The South American nation of Chile has imported 2.23 million tonnes of LNG during the first 10 months of the year, down 5.7 percent on the same period of 2018 as pipeline gas supplies from Argentina have provided competition.

Nov 8 (LNGJ) - The 155,000 cubic metres capacity “Gaslog Savannah” will arrive on November 12 at the Gorgon LNG export plant at Barrow Island in Western Australia, operated by Chevron, to lift a cargo for Asia. The 155,000 cubic metres capacity “British Emerald”, operated by BP Shipping, is scheduled to deliver a shipment to Tokyo Bay on November 15 from the Bonny Island plant in Nigeria. The 160,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “Cool Runner” was headed for the UK with a cargo from Nigeria, with delivery scheduled for November 15. The 165,000 cubic metres capacity “Marib Spirit” is scheduled to lift a cargo on November 17 from the Gladstone LNG plant in Queensland, Australia, for likely delivery to South Korea for Korea Gas Corp.

Oct 24 (LNGJ) - The 153,000 cubic metres capacity “LNG Barka”, operated by NYK Line, is scheduled to arrive on October 23 from Singapore to lift a cargo from the Gorgon LNG export plant on Barrow Island in Western Australia, according to shipping data. The 165,000 cubic metres capacity “Marib Spirit” is scheduled to deliver a cargo from the Gorgon plant on November 1 to the Korean Incheon import terminal, operated by Korea Gas Corp. The Japanese-flagged, 155,000 cubic metres capacity carrier “LNG Venus” is scheduled to deliver a shipment on November 6 from Oman to the Japanese Senboku import terminal, operated by Osaka Gas.

Chevron Corp. has finally shipped its second cargo from the new Gorgon liquefaction plant on Barrow Island in Western Australia after a three-month shutdown for repairs and this shipment is destined for Indonesia.
