Two German cargoes

Jan 12 (LNGJ) - Two LNG cargoes are scheduled to arrive in Germany before the end of January, according to shipping data. Both shipments are headed for the floating LNG import terminal at the North Sea port of Wilhelmshaven and are expected to berth on January 22 and January 30.

   One shipment is scheduled to arrive on the 174,100 cubic metres capacity “Diamond Gas Victoria” after being lifted from the Cameron LNG export plant in Louisiana on January 7. A second shipment is headed for Wilhelmshaven from Angola in southwest Africa on board the 154,950 cubic metres capacity vessel “Malanje” . The Angolan shipment was lifted on January 11.

UK’s Angola cargo

Feb 11 (LNGJ) - The 154,950 cubic metres capacity LNG carrier “Malanje” is heading for the UK port of Milford Haven with a shipment of LNG from the southwest African nation of Angola. The vessel lifted its cargo on January 30 from the Angolan Soyo liquefaction plant located just south of the Congo River delta, according to shipping data. The African facility is operated by US major Chevron Corp. The “Malanje” is scheduled to arrive around February 14 at the Dragon import terminal at the Welsh port.

UAE awaits Angola LNG

June 16 (LNGJ) - The United Arab Emirates has turned to the southwest African LNG plant in Angola for supplies to help replace volumes normally shipped from Qatar. The 160,400 cubic metres capacity carrier “Malanje” is scheduled to deliver a cargo on June 29 to the UAE import facility at the port of Jebel Ali in Dubai, according to shipping data. The UAE imported 3.10 million tonnes of LNG in 2016. Among the largest volumes, 950,000 tonnes came from Qatar, 750,000 tonnes came from Nigeria and there were no deliveries from Angola.

Angola LNG for Portugal

Jan 16 (LNGJ) - The 160,400 cubic metres capacity carrier “Malanje” is scheduled to deliver a cargo to the Sines import terminal in Portugal on January 22 from the Soyo export plant in Angola, southwest Africa, according to shipping data. In other shipping movements, the 127,700 cubic metres capacity “LNG Flora” will unload a shipment on January 20 at the Tai-Chung import terminal in Taiwan. The cargo came from the Japanese Sakai Senboku terminal in Osaka Bay, operated by Kansai Electric. The 155,000 cubic meters capacity “Gaslog Sydney” will deliver a cargo on January 26 to the Pyoengtaek terminal in South Korea from the Gladstone export plant eastern Australia, operated by Santos.
