BOTAS, Edison explore gas pipeline and LNG cooperation
Turkey’s state-owned pipeline operator BOTAS and the Italian energy company Edison have agreed to work together on LNG trade and swap operations, while evaluating a new gas pipeline across the Mediterranean between Turkey and Italy.
JERA and KOGAS to deepen operational LNG cooperation
Japan’s largest LNG buyer JERA and its Korean counterpart KOGAS have agreed to deepen coordination in LNG operations by optimizing LNG shipping schedules and terminal utilization.
ADNOC works with RWE on term LNG supply to Germany and EU
Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has agreed to work with Germany’s largest utility RWE on delivering up to 1 mtpa of LNG for up to 10 years to Germany and other European markets. The envisaged volume corresponds to up to 12 cargoes of LNG and up to 1.4 bcm of natural gas per year, under a framework agreement signed Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Group CEO of ADNOC and chairman of Masdaar and RWE CEO Markus Krebber.
Petronas and JERA sign MoU to provide LNG supply to Japan
Malaysian state energy company Petronas and Japan’s leading LNG importer and power producer JERA have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to provide “reliable LNG supply for Japan.” The accord was signed during the Energy Asia 2025 conference.
Four Japanese companies sign LNG bunkering MOU
Japan's Kyushu Electric Power has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Saibu Gas, The Chugoku Electric Power Co and Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK) aimed at commercialising the supply of LNG bunker fuel in Japan.
